Scheduling & Appointments

You can schedule by calling us at 828-552-5174, emailing lab@wncil.com, or using the contact form on our website. We typically respond within one business day.
We recommend booking at least 3-5 business days in advance, especially during peak season (spring and fall). Emergency services are available with same-day or next-day scheduling when possible.
Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Emergency services are available 24/7 for well and septic issues.

Payment & Pricing

We accept cash, checks, and all major credit/debit cards. Payment is due at the time of service unless other arrangements are made.
No, trip fees are separate and vary by county. See our Service Area section for specific trip fees by county.
Phone estimates are always free. On-site estimates may include a trip fee depending on the service and location.

Cancellations & Refunds

We require at least 24 hours notice for cancellations. Cancellations with less than 24 hours notice may be subject to a trip fee charge.
Lab testing fees are non-refundable once samples have been processed. Service work that has not been completed may be eligible for a partial refund.

Water Testing

Basic bacteria tests take 24-48 hours. Lender and premium tests typically take 3-5 business days depending on the analytes being tested.
For best results, avoid running water for at least 2 hours before sample collection. Our technician will handle the proper collection procedure.
The FHA/VA/USDA lender test includes 6 analytes: total coliform, E. coli, heterotrophic plate count, nitrate, nitrite, and lead. This meets requirements for most mortgage lenders.

Well Services

We recommend annual well inspections and water testing to ensure your system is functioning properly and your water is safe.
A full well inspection includes visual assessment of all components, flow and recovery testing, pressure system evaluation, and a detailed written report.
Our shock chlorination process has a 99% success rate on standard wells. Each treatment includes a follow-up bacteria test to verify effectiveness.

Septic Services

Most residential septic tanks should be pumped every 3-5 years, depending on household size and usage. We can help determine the right schedule for your system.
Our inspection includes permit and property research, tank locating, system assessment, camera inspection, and a written report with photos. Pumping can be added to any inspection.
Yes, we offer emergency septic pumping and basic repairs. Emergency service is available outside normal business hours at an additional fee.
